Dr. Justin J. Bichler received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin—Oshkosh. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, graduating cum laude from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.
He completed a podiatric residency at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, with a focus on sports medicine, wound care, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. His research on diabetic foot ulcer healing times and interprofessional team meeting outcomes has been published in respected medical journals.
Most recently, Dr. Bichler completed the Northwest Illinois Foot & Ankle Foundation Fellowship(opens in a new tab), working alongside Dr. Patrick McEneaney and the surgical team at NIFAS. This additional fellowship training deepened his clinical and operative experience and strengthened his continuity with the local patient community.
Dr. Bichler is known for integrating evidence-based protocols with each patient’s individual goals, building strong, lasting relationships. Many patients appreciate his compassionate bedside manner and thoughtful treatment planning.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, staying active, and spending quality time with his family.

Monday: Crystal Lake – 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Tuesday: Crystal Lake – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Wednesday: Fox Lake – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday: Lake in the Hills – 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Friday: Crystal Lake – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Dr. Bichler will also offer limited Saturday availability.
